First Nights in the House (sort of)!

Once we had finished oiling and protecting the timber frame, we decided it was time to camp out in our new house! I had recently purchased a new hammock to take camping with us and so the first Friday night, while Brian was trucking throughout the night, I strung up my new hammock and slept under the shelter of the rafters and the tarp.

It was fantastic! But I wonder if I ate any spiders over the course of the night…

The Saturday night after, Brian joined me as I pitched a small tent in our future kitchen. We then began to stay over that way quite regularly to save time traveling and because it was the only camping we had the chance to do this summer. And we love camping!
